It’s coming . . . {Maryland Child Photographer}

Fall. The cooler mornings and evenings, the crickets chirping . . . It’s almost here. Fall is my favorite season and the farm is the perfect location for family portraits. There are so many beautiful spots there that no session looks the same. Soon the cornfields will be cut down and the foliage will turn beautiful shades of orange and red. I love shooting here.
If you would like a “Farm” Fall session please contact me as soon as possible. I am almost fully booked for outdoor portraits for the entire season, only a few spots left!

When I look at him sometimes, I can see him as as a young man; his lanky gait, tousled brown hair and kind blue eyes that look into your soul.
But just a moment later, betrayed by the hint of baby fat in his cheeks when he smiles, he is still my little boy.
That wide- eyed and curious newborn the doctor placed on my chest, who’s boo boos I have kissed and hands I have held and fears I have calmed . . .will step on a bus tomorrow morning on his way to a new adventure.
And I will miss him. And I will think about him all day. And I will be waiting for him to come home to me.
These are so cute! I love the new blog too! Looks Fab!

You know, like Bambi? These two siblings have the deepest, most amazing brown eyes. They were also fantastic in front of the camera -tromping all over creation with me tonight for their session. It was such a pleasure meeting this beautiful family -here’s a peek into our session . . .

and love and family, that is what this group exudes. Photographing large families can be a challenge but it was a breeze with a genuinely kind family such as this. It doesn’t hurt that they are all gorgeous as well. These children knew how to WORK the camera-Tyra Banks could take some lessons from this crew 
. This is going to a a long sneak peek because there were just too many I had to edit right away . . . much more to come!

and green, and cream and grey too. These beautiful sisters were a dream to photograph. I seriously could have photographed them all night but when it got dark we had to wrap it up. It was awesome working with such beautiful ladies -hope you enjoy a LONG preview from our session -I just could not cut it down!
Summer Lovin’ {Maryland Child Photographer}

Had me a blast.
Anyone with kids knows how (frustrating! aggravating! soul-crushing!) hard it is to get a picture of them in the same frame. And even better -smiling. And even, EVEN better -smiling and looking at the camera or looking like they are fond of one another in any way. It’s really the perfect storm of photography.
They do love each other, it’s so lovely when they show it.
After this they went inside and fought over who gets the orange Popsicle, Emme hit Noah over the head with her stuffed cow and everyone went to bed early.
the last pic of the two of them may be the best pic I have ever seen of yours. Such perfection, and the fact that they are yours makes it even better!
